Elizabeth J. Fineman Joins Faculty Pane at PBI Custody Program

Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, (AMM Law) announced that AMM Partner and Family Law attorney Elizabeth Fineman participated as faculty at the August 13th Pennsylvania Bar Institute Continuing Legal Education Live Webinar – “Third Parties in Custody Cases 2024”. This course will examined third parties in custody from the perspective of attorneys, a judge and a therapist/evaluator. The faculty discussed the law and trends that have emerged in third party custody as well recent cases, potential legislation and how the practice continues to change. Topics included: Standing, Presumptions and Factors, Case law, Trends and Opioid Epidemic, Same Sex Parents, Court Perspective, Therapist/Evaluator Perspective, Attorney Elizabeth Fineman concentrates her practice exclusively on Family Law matters. She handles a variety of issues, including divorce, child support, alimony/spousal support, marital taxation, equitable distribution and child custody matters. Elizabeth has particular practice focus on high-income support cases involving an intricate knowledge of both family law and complex financial issues. Domestic relations cases often involve significant taxation complexities. Elizabeth’s advanced education and experience in the tax arena has frequently served as a valuable asset by enabling her to handle a wide spectrum of tax matters in the representation of her clients, especially with business valuations.
