Mentorship Program

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”

                 –Benjamin Franklin

What better way to involve newer colleagues in our Bar Association community than to mentor them? We are excited to announce our Mentorship Program, which is intended to foster a sense of community and collegiality within our legal profession, while raising the standards of competence and ethics. Our program offers practical hands-on guidance to mentors, including various programs, such as CLE courses, networking events, and group mentoring activities to keep mentors and mentees involved and active. We look forward to your participation in making this a successful endeavor!

The Honorable Charissa J. Liller, on behalf of the Mentorship Committee

The goals of the Bucks County Bar Association Mentorship Program are to provide professional guidance and counsel to assist the Mentee in acquiring the practical skills, judgment, and professional values necessary to practice law in a highly competent manner.

Mentorship will afford the mentees meaningful access to an experienced lawyer mentor equipped to teach practical skills, seasoned judgment, and sensitivity to ethical and professional values that represent the best traditions and high aspirations of the legal profession.

The Mentorship Program is open to all members of the Bucks County Bar Association, including 3L student members. This is a one-year commitment, although a mentor and mentee may extend this term to suit their needs. For more information and to apply to the program as either a Mentor or Mentee, please see the materials below:
