Registers and Clerks: As you know, we are in support of HB1903 which will allow personal representatives to advertise the existence of an estate on the official Register of Wills website, rather than a newspaper of general circulation.  The bill is schedule for a hearing on March 13, 2018. There is some confusion regarding whether this bill would affect county bar association law journals. It is not the intent of this bill, nor of the Registers of Wills and Clerks of the Orphans’ Court Association to eliminate any requirement to advertise an estate in the county law journals.  The bill
