H. Jeffrey Brahin presented a seminar on Representing Commercial Tenants in Lease Negotiations at the Bucks County Bar Association. Mr. Brahin covered a wide range of topics including options to renew, landlord representations and warranties, landlord and tenant fit-outs, relocation clauses, landlord’s work and certifications prior to possession, percentage rent, CAM charges, force majeure clauses, exclusive use clauses, co-tenancy clauses, landlord and tenant remedies, and confessions of judgment.

Mr. Brahin focuses his practice on complex commercial and real estate litigation, as well as real estate and corporate transactional work. Mr. Brahin represents a wide variety of landlords, tenants, companies and individuals in litigation matters including landlord-tenant litigation, options, adverse possession, partition, foreclosures, mechanics’ liens, actions to quiet title, condominium litigation, rights of first refusal, and the Commercial Real Estate Broker Lien Act. He also represents numerous entities in litigation matters including trade secret disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, commercial debt collection and Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law matters.

Mr. Brahin has been named a Super Lawyer for the past 7 years. He is the co-chair of the Bucks County Business Law Institute and has served on the Bucks County Ad Hoc Committee on Preliminary Injunction Procedure. Mr. Brahin has been appointed by the Court to serve as an arbitrator in commercial litigation matters and serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Brahin also has an active mediation and arbitration practice.
