Philadelphia Business Journal Honors Eleanor Gerhards
in Its 2018 40 Under 40 List
Warrington, PA – April 9, 2016 – Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Eleanor Vaida Gerhards on being named to the coveted 40 Under 40 list by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The annual list recognizes current and future leaders across various industries in the region. Gerhards was selected out of hundreds of nominations.
A partner in the firm and co-chair of Fox’s Franchising, Licensing & Distribution Practice Group, Gerhards leads a team of more than 40 attorneys in 21 offices who represent franchise and distribution companies in industrial, retail, food, entertainment, service, technology and home-based businesses.
She currently chairs the International Franchise Association (IFA) Philadelphia Women’s Franchise Network, a group of business professionals dedicated to boosting the success of women in the franchise industry. She also serves on the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising Program Steering Committee and is a Certified Franchise Executive, a designation received from the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives, an academic branch of the IFA’s Educational Foundation.
Active in the local business and legal community, Gerhards is a member of the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association, various chambers of commerce and serves on the Budget (Finance) Committee and Bylaws Committee of the Bucks County Bar Association.
A frequent author and speaker on business and franchise matters, Gerhards contributes to the firm’s Franchise Law Update blog, which focuses on the regulatory aspects of franchising as well as diverse topics such as business finance, employment, litigation and the protection of intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights.
Gerhards is recognized as a Franchise Legal Eagle by Franchise Times magazine (2016, 2017, 2018) and was named to Super Lawyers’ 2017 “Rising Stars” list.
