Hillary Moonay to Present at the 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – September 12, 2022 –Hillary Moonay, Co-Chair of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP Family Law Department, will present at the 2022 National Divorce Conference, hosted by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and Business Valuation Resources (BVR). The conference will take place at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas on September 18-20,2022, bringing together the leading matrimonial attorneys and financial experts to gain critical insights from nationally recognized presenters.

 

Moonay’s panel, scheduled for Tuesday, September 20 at 12:00 pm UTC, is titled “Executive Compensation: The Ghost of Past, Present or Future?” It will provide an in-depth analysis of the various types of executive compensation plans divorce attorneys and forensic accountants will encounter in their cases. It will also cover the methods used to determine whether the compensation was earned prior to or after the divorce cut-off date. The panel will then explore how that information impacts the marital nature of the various types of awards, as well as alternative distribution scenarios and valuation techniques.

 

Moonay focuses her practice exclusively in the area of family law, where she handles all phases of the negotiation and litigation of domestic relations cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony/spousal support, equitable distribution, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, mediation, arbitration, and related issues.
