Erin K. Aronson, Esq. to Serve as Faculty at November NBI Webinar

Blue Bell, PA – Erin K. Aronson, Esq. will serve as faculty at a NBI webinar on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. The seminar is entitled, Transgender Student Rights: Interpreting Legal Grey Areas, and Ms. Aronson will specifically discuss bullying and harassment, and student record issues arising under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) in the context of transgender students.

Ms. Aronson is an attorney with Eastburn & Gray PC, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the education and school law practice group, in which she advises clients regarding a wide array of issues, including school discipline, students’ Constitutional rights, and special education matters under both Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA). Additionally, she handles all aspects of special education due process hearings. Ms. Aronson also advises clients regarding the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, and has successfully argued on appeal before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. She also handles employment matters on behalf of both employers and employees, including claims of workplace discrimination on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, or disability, which arise under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA). In addition, she advises clients regarding issues related to the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act, and Wage Payment and Collection Law. Ms. Aronson regularly negotiates and prepares employment contracts and severance agreements on behalf of both employers and employees.
